A letter of Gratitude

For most of your life, things aren’t according to what you have visioned them to be. You might find something awkward enough to start but rewarding afterward. All you need is a push that motivates and encourages you to take your first step.

The push, motivation, or encouragement comes from people who understand you and your bottlenecks, they help you in such ways that you overcome the hindrance and do what you always wanted to do.

When I was a student at university in my first year, the biggest hurdle that I faced was my ability to interact with people. As an introvert, no matter how hard I try, I was not able to make friends and even if I did they were soon not in my circle because of my inability to maintain those contacts. I was frustrated, I would set goals every day to say hello first and talk to people but I always come to my bed with more frustration.

But as the story goes, there is someone who is always there to pull you out of your misery. for me, that was a friend of mine that was not known to me before. In a class when we were having presentations she was called to present her work, the way she carried herself and faced the audiences I was awed and at that moment I decided “ she is going to be my best friend”.

The following semester I was elected as a class representative and she was a Girl representative, the circumstances gave me the very chance to get the benefit of her encouraging company. She was the best friend that I had in ages when she learned about my frustration she gave me the best advice and here I am making new friends every day or at least I don’t have panic attacks reaching out to people.

I would like to thank my friend and would advise you to be original, people are also fighting hard to get out of their shell. They struggle every day to get accepted. Be nice, be polite and be accepting as nobody is perfect and neither you should try to find one with such perfection as well.
